Seth could really light it up. No doubt about it. He was super crafty and could score in a lot of different ways. I think he has some gas left in the tank. But with a crowded locker room, I understand it. I wish Seth the best!
This is the kinda stuff I like to see. A little mathematical analysis. That said, by all means pick this apart. I’m all ears.
“And yet, despite Plumlee not being a primary go-to offensive option, the Suns performed very well when he was on the floor. They averaged +6.6 net points per 100 offensive and defensive possessions in his 1,256 minutes played, good for second highest on the team and putting Plumlee in the 86th percentile of all NBA players, according to Cleaning the Glass. Though he attempted a career-low 2.7 shots per game, Plumlee still landed in the 88th percentile for bigs in rim efficiency (76%) and the 81st for effective field-goal percentage (62.1%). For reference, last season, the Hornets were in the NBA’s bottom three for field goal percentage in both the restricted area (62.6%) and the non-restricted area part of the paint (38.3%).”

So basically, plumlee can be good as long as you have a generational talent inside out perimeter player and a current first team all NBA guard. But if not, he has to shoot more than 3 times a game and is just meh.
Got it
Plum.
Lee!
Plum.
Lee!
Here’s a shining example of why I had zero interest in Ayton. Dude plays like he’s half his real size. Low BBIQ player.
I read it as, “Plumlee will be adequate.” This helps - somewhat - to address my concerns that Melo is being setup for failure. Thanks for your approach to posting on these boards.
Melo is not being “set up to fail". Melos “failures” are health. Most of this is probably not his fault and is his body being made of glass. How much of that is his off court dedication to his basketball profession can be subject to debate.
Lipstick on a pig. I couldn’t wait to get rid of him last time and I’ve no doubt I’ll be feeling the same way early on again.
What do we think about pat connaughton
He’s not here come roster cuts
Yeah, last three seasons dude has played 36, 22, and 47 games. While there are certainly questions about the rest of the roster, both Melo’s success and the Hornets’ success starts with him being healthy and on the court.
