Hornets 2025-26 Season

Happy to have Tidjane back we have actually needed him.

Also Kon is on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night. Yes you read that correctly. We have definitely never had a rook do anything like that lol or any player at all for that matter. Is Kon showing us a glimpse at his eventual star status?

That’s big time right there. Major respect

Inspired by Chef’s post 4 days ago in the 2025 second round discussion thread, discussing Kalk and the Hornets’ offense.

The Hornets are 8th in the league in 3pt attempts per game/possession, but only 22nd in 3pt %.

They are 25th/26th in 2pt attempts per game/possession, but rank a little higher in 2pt %.

At what point is this pushing a square peg into a round hole?

Thoughts?

Sion James is shooting 39% from three so far this year. On 3.1 three point attempts per game. I didn’t have that on my bingo card.

They actually aren’t a bad shooting team. I bet if you took out bad shots from mainly melo and miles + broken possession hand grenade threes (way too many) they would be middle of the pack to above average.

Regarding my post, I would actually like to see an offense that is inside out putting pressure on the defense to get good threes not dho/drive and kick moving threes

is brandon miller gunna lose another season to injuries? Season still young sure, but worst case scenario.. how in earth do you navigate yet another ā€œfoundationā€ of this team with an injury problem??

Miller should go ahead and have surgery. They basically have his shoulder taped on.

That’s not how it works. I told y’all it is going to take 4 weeks plus. It hurts a lot. He is going to be ok, he’s putting in 20+ a night when he plays.

It’s totally ok for him to have surgery and be out for the season again. There is always next year…….. yay.

Absolutely

No Hornet all-stars in the talks but this…

Other players like the Knicks’ Mikal Bridges, the Indiana Pacers’ Pascal Siakam and Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel could make a run as the first half continues, but this bullet-pointed list represents the top options for now. Knueppel is a fun sleeper All-Star candidate, with his 18.4 PPG and 41.3% 3-point shooting on high volume, but he would be just the third rookie in the 21st century to make an All-Star team. (The other two were No. 1 picks Yao Ming and Blake Griffin, the latter of whom had a ā€œredshirtā€ year in the NBA before playing his rookie season.)

If you click the link, be sure to scroll past the Duren selection.

Do you mean the Duren we traded for a late first round pick, who we just let walk!? The most epic trade in Hornets history that only we would make?

Don’t know what you’re talking about.

Did we even draft players before this year??

I’m not sure. It think this one time we selected a guy named James Booknight and a dude named Kaii Jones in the lottery, who are no longer on the team as well.

Those sound like made up names.

We once drafted this guy named Kobe something but traded him.. he ended up being a pretty good player. We always drafted this SGA guy who needed up being an MVP champion as well. We are great at drafting.

I dunno guys. All we need is Mo bamba. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I’ve never been wrong on a player. Ever.

I just thought I’d bring back a funny from the past when Mo Bamba was my guy. I was willing to die on the mo Bamba hill. And well, I died there.
