I am not paying attention to the game, but whenever I do Micic is

That Alley-oOp to Diabate is such an elevating assist.

I am sure Diabate is pumped up by it

That's a clean block

Those awful Lamelo threes are sooo satisfying when they go in

Lol DaQuan

Ok I restate, that's a foul

largest lead of the season +25

Funny seeing JB as an assistant, though we weren't happy, I think he is a good guy, and hope finds success

WIIIIIIINNNNNN

If fans watched tonight’s game and thought, we need that fat guy that might lose a conditioning battle with micic and uninterested diaw, and had only played like 190 games in 6 years, i don’t get you.

I was really surprised with Zion last night because i didn’t feel like he was that impressive and he still had 28pts.
He looked slow but still got to his spots, Miles did pretty well defending him but he’s like a juggernaut and out of control sometimes.
I’m not sure i want to spend 2 1st in a trade for him and give up Miles. The other thing is, is he only played 195 games i think in 4 years basically missing 1 in every 2 which ain’t good enough for your star player, we already moan about Melo’s injuries

I’m not in favor of going after him because his injury history makes that venture too risky. He simply can’t be relied upon to be available and the last thing we need is another expensive guy who’s hurt all the time. But I can definitely see how the possibility would be intriguing. Even without being fully in shape, Zion pretty effortlessly put up 28 and 11 in 26 minutes, displaying the smoothness and athleticism that would make him a generational player if he could string three or four healthy seasons together. There’s no denying that the guy is immensely talented. It’s truly a shame he’ll probably never become all he could have been due to injuries.

28 and 11 being down double digits the entire game doesn’t mean nearly as much as it looks like on a box score

When Zion went full bowling ball, he got points every single time. I think he did it on 3 straight possessions in the third. That’s unstoppable by everyone but his own body. He clearly - at times last night - looked fully gassed. So yeah, full Zion-bowler is a bucket, but he cannot possibly do that all game, let alone for half a quarter. Any team that wants to play him out just needs to jack up their pace; he will not be a factor in short haste.

Add that to how badly out of shape he looks, it cannot send any good messaging to inquiring teams. Add to that he came into the league in 2019 and if you used his entire tenure in the NBA, he would be 25th is games played since the start of the 2022-23 season. He’s not a serious athlete and we are in dire need of serious athletes, not carnival attractions.

I get that but I wasn’t basing my comment off of a box score. I actually watched the game and have watched him over the course of his entire career and I stand by my statement.

I wasn’t saying that to suggest that he can’t get those numbers. When he is healthy and in some sort of shape, he is a modern day Barkley.

Well I didn’t watch this one. I pulled up the box score and saw the status for mark Williams that he was sitting out, my heart sank. I said “no fucking way he’s injured”. He’s not. Just sitting out a back to back.

Whewwwww boy my heart sank.

I’m not saying we should get Zion, but I do wonder if it would help him at all being closer to home and in a city that might not have as many distractions. Dunno. speculation.

Charlotte is home to Bojangles. Nuff said

But they ain’t no beignets, and they have protein. Just saying.
