Well that was a heart stopper. Great finish

Moussa with 9, 15, and 6. That’s super impressive. I realize there’s more motivation for to his French compatriot but wow.
Well damn. Hate my plans changed! Can’t wait to catch the replay.
Caught the last 2 minutes. What was impressive to me was Melo showing some fire and leadership in those timeouts. That’s a big step!
This was a great team win! The fight, energy and effort is good to see. I did turn the channel after fox shot the ball, but glad I turned back.
He was all of that. I think not having the effort drop off with any rotation tonight got everyone in a higher state of GAF. And it paid off
Games like this make me glad we’re not stuck with that wembanyama guy. What a loser.
I actually started dissecting that miles 3 during the game. Not sure who was guarding him, maybe castle, but it was awful. He actually starts to come in as melo is flying across the lane in the air as if he is going to shoot. All he had to do was either stay put or move out to the corner. Forcing melo to throw to top at about 23 ft to the other guard.
I was dissecting it to my 14 year old daughter as she is texting her friends and my wife. They were waiting to start Lost as we are watching with my daughter. She says “dad who are you talking to?” Me: I guess no one.
Rookie mistake, fell for the shiny object. A layup wont lose the game but a wide open 3 will. Pop woulda given him the death stare and locked him in Tony Parkers old dungeon for the weekend.
Castle’s gonna be a problem, he almost has that Jimmy Butler physicality and cold bloodedness, and flat ass jumpshot. But hopefully doesn’t get that entitled assholeness.
Seeing that kind of energy from the start of the game is a weird feeling. It was contagious, infectious, addicting. The Moose effect? His energy seemed to at least bother Wemby, although Wemby should never shoot 9 threes in a game unless he’s really feeling it. Should master that Durant midranger and gain strength to be a Giannis type attacker. But then that wouldn’t be fair.
I liked how the rookies played, I wonder if KJ was busting Vasa’s ass in practice, but the team needed to maintain the illusion of Vasa still being a backup quality guard to make him tradeable, even as a throw in.
Nick Smith growing every day too. Awesome to see the game slowing down. They always said he was a gym rat and avid film watcher, learning to control his pace is key to becoming a nice 6th man spark type of player. I wondered if he could get to Mann’s level of play, I had my doubts at first, but he’s starting to get there. Definitely more Mann like than Bouknight.
Yeah, Castle looked really good, but it’s so typical Hornets that he was shooting 20 something percent from 3 on the year but hits 3/5 against us, and nearly triples his scoring average. Happens every time.
On a side note I didn’t realize that I was actually classmates with his dad at Wake until Eric mentioned it during the broadcast. He’s WAY better than his dad was.
