grant Williams reminds me of micic sometimes. Both guys are pretty slow, and more physical bodies. Are known for wanting to pass first generally, so defenders can slouch off them. Micic and grant known when to take it to them rim when the catch their defenders playing the pass

I’m excited about that wonderful D we played in the 2nd half. Want more of that.

Hate I wasn’t able to watch in real time but if this is what it’s like having two stars playing off each other I’ll take more of that! Lamelo and BMill were incredible! I’m not as ready to pull the plug on Miles as many others are. He’s a good player in his own right. But I think @dnbman said it in the game thread, he has to show he can compliment Miller and Ball. Everything must fit around the two of them and so far his fit with them has been disjointed. They’ve still only played four games together so it’s too soon to say it can’t work, but if it turns out that all three can’t maximize their talent while playing alongside each other then I agree we may need to look at moving him.

Shout out to Diabate! He was looking like vintage Rodman out there. Just has an incredible knack for finding the ball. If he ever develops slightly better hands and just a little bit of touch offensively he would be extremely dangerous. Even strictly as a rebounder/defender he’s still impactful.

And man, we really missed not having Cody the past couple of years. When he’s healthy and playing he just makes good things happen. And with his improved shooting it’s looking like we may have finally found our long-awaited 3&D wing.

Maybe miles should be a 2nd unit guy who also doesn’t get much time with Brandon on the floor at the same time.

That way he can be the black hole low IQ guy of the 2nd unit.
