That’s pretty cool

Wow. Good for Sion!

It really is

Cool that they were there for the rookies moment.

Love to see the culture, care, and leadership presence. Hopefully more to come.

I love the declaration that contract makes. Our second round picks are valued!

I have such unrealistic, self-generated hype over Sion. The only negative of trading for Sexton and re-signing Mann, is Sion definitely won’t be in the regular backcourt rotation. I love his fit between LaMelo & Miller, and favour the balance of a 3&D primary point of attack defender in the starting unit. Especially one who also moves the ball well. I’ll get back in my unrealistic box.

Great that Sion’s being rostered. Now to trade away some pieces …

The article is really an incredible insight into Colin’s excitement and buy-in. Consider me really hyped, and I already was.

It’s like an upgrade on Terry Rozier in every way in my opinion.

It’s refreshing to have a player who doesn’t speak first of their brand but seems to just want to play basketball and get paid for doing that well.

Yeah, it’s definitely nice to see that he’s excited about being here. I haven’t necessarily thought of him as a long term piece, but if his fit seems good next to Lamelo and he can possibly be that culture setting vet we need, maybe hanging on to him beyond this season could make sense.

Long … Term …

Count me as hyped too, not sure why it hasn’t got more attention, it’s a solid get. seen some interesting takes, talk of him as a sixth man and depth charts with Kon starting… which is bonkers to me, our backcourt starting the season will be Lamelo and Sexton and consider me excited.

Agreed

Huge offseason get

He may eventually make a certain player more tradable if not already.

Who is the best free agent that we have brought in during Melo’s time?

I’m guessing they’re going to see how the season starts and who is healthy/develops before deciding if it’s worth making a big move on a Center? Sure would have been nice to have kept Jalen Duren…

Trying to imagine what their intentions are with the assets they have are.. are they going to use them on a center or have other ideas in mind. Likely all of that will be determined by how things go particularly by midseason of this upcoming season.

That’s definitely an interesting question. I still have to think Giannis is going to get traded at some point. If the Bucks get off to a rough start he’ll start grumbling and will likely be dealt at the deadline. I hope the FO would keep our assets intact to be able to make an attractive offer if/when that happens.

While I can appreciate the fan aspect, i think it would be a little too old, too late. He might not even be old for nba, but i have to believe we’re a year or two away regardless of who we trade for. He be in the expensive side of effective by the time we caught up. I’d rather find the Giannis-type that’s just starting to pop instead.
