Hoping for the best but expecting to get crushed tonight by Boston. Mark williams would be really helpful to have tonight…or on the floor at any point this season…
Well, because I hate myself I put down a few dollars on a three leg parlay on the game tonight. Josh green 12 or more points, Josh green 5 or more rebounds, and miles bridges with 25 or more points. +18000
Don’t know if miller plays and even if he does, I’d assume Lee may be cautious with him. Seemed like a fun bet that isn’t too unreasonable.
Edit: Brandon miller is out, so maybe this parlay looks a little more reasonable
We are a good center away from being top 5 in the east.
I feel like they scored on their points off free throws when we got 1 point down
Well that was fun until the refs decided it wasn’t going to be fun anymore.
The league sure is protecting their “asset” Jason Tatum. Celtics shot 20 free throws in the fucking 4th quarter. Give me a break
Terrence telling it like it is on the postgame show. Ripping into the poor officiating while also calling out our stupidity. I love his honestly.
Consistently bad officiating begets acting in bad faith. Not saying it’s right, or smart, but it’s real.
Should be interesting rematch IN BOSTON in just a day from this… lol
I don’t love what grant did and I don’t support the hockey goon style of behavior, but I also don’t disagree with grant Williams either. It was a frustrated bump on the refs’ “prince tatum” to deliver the “we’re still here and what’s happening is bullshit” message. I’m fine with it.
Miles bridges on the other hand was a little tacky, but at that juncture of what was happening I don’t really care either. The game was already made into a joke.
It’s a fine line of not being complacent and showing enough decorum.
My issue with what Grant did last night was that the game was still within reach when he body checked Tatum 40 feet from the basket. I get it if he was giving a hard foul to prevent a lay up, but there was nothing to be gained from doing what he did. I get the frustration, especially against the backdrop of the non-call after Tre was molested by Brown, but that play effectively ended the game. The refs were terrible, and they were definitely piling on with the ejection followed by Miles ejection, which they should’ve just let go. It is infuriating, but we do have to be smarter than that. Both things are true. Let’s take it out on them with a win tonight.
