If the team is fully healthy. I mean, if he’s playing well let him play obviously. But he’s a 7th man on the roster and that’s better suited for his skill level. I do not see him as a regular nba starter talent

I think for some players, less is more. And having a well designed role. But if he needs to fill in as a starter sometimes, sure.

Looking at the rest of our starters i think it’ll be difficult to replace or limit him due to his defensive impact. I’d like to be where you are as that would be best…just hard to find the replacement

Martin playing 5-6 minutes a quarter with a healthy team is plenty. That would give him 20-24 minitrs a game

with a healthy squad so you guys want to see Cody play more than 6 minutes a quarter? Curious. If his defense is popping, sure.

Or if you want to bring in Cody for a 4th quarter closer role

Miami had his brother at 29 last year so you’re in the ballpark. I think we just haven’t found that 2 yet

If he could get a little more consistent with his 3, I could see him being a starter alongside Melo. perhaps not ideally, but reasonable possibilities are there. I do see him more as swiss army guard off the bench. not sure how many minutes I'd want to see him play. Probably have more to do with game flow.

i do like Cody, but I never see him being an nba starter. I haven’t seen that three point consistency to justify more playing time. I just think he’s a great 20ish average minutes do it all-good defense bench guy

It's no so much his offense so much as when he's charged to run the offense. Feel like he's fine when he's not the focal point and it's a bonus if he makes a nice play.
