I saw a video floating around this morning. Duren and Diabate were both 5 star recruits and their pre college teams played each other and there was some beef between the two guys from years ago. (I don’t remember if it was high school team or AAU travel teams)
After we get past the Rockets and Cavs in our next two games, we have a stretch of 5 games which should all be very winnable.

We were 6 games out of 6th (Philly). It’s now been cut down to 4.5. I believe we have 27 games remaining.

Someone on the Hornets reddit claimed we’d need to go 18-10 and the 76ers 13-15 at a minimum. Which while difficult is doable
On current form that’s very doable, just depends if Embiid stays fit
Last night was huge & nice to ride high during the break. We get to feel good for a week!
Few fun notes -
Kon gets a 2 week lead as 1st to 1k points. Coop is unfortunately stuck at 999 & won’t be in this weekends action. Rookie ladder will swing back Kon’s way.
Kon needs 24 3’s to have sole possession of the all-time rookie record (currently Keegan Murray at 206). He has a legit shot if owning the record in Feb with March & April to build on it. Wild.
Kon is just 2 3’s behind Donovan Mitchell for most in the NBA this season. Let that sink in. Our boy has made 8 more tres than Chef Curry - the greatest from behind the arc of all time. This is so beyond wild to me.
Our biggest battles over the next 6 - will be next week - but the way the hive is rocking those won’t be easy dubs for HOU & CLE.

Is it really 6 more days until another game? In years past I needed a break, but this year I was ready to keep going with how well the guys are playing.

No Hornets games; but Schnall is in the Celeb game tonight and then Kon in the Shooting Stars after that (only on Peacock though, just shoot me now). Then Kon in the Rising Stars and 3 point contest tomorrow. It’s all we got; gotta be good enough!
Rising stars is tonight and shooting stars is tomorrow but you are right, huge weekend for our rook and he is the undisputed #1 prospect in the rising stars game!!!
Rising Stars is on NBC Sports Network as well as Peacock. I have it on Youtube TV.
Watching the Rising Stars now. The pay so much harder than the allstars do. Hopefully the NBA will go more in this direction.
20-7 is definitely doable, with the way we are playing. These next 2 games do worry me without 2 starters.

She’s doing so well. I do miss her though.
Nba trying very hard to convince people that all star isn’t trash because they are playing hard this year.
I feel like the rising stars played fairly hard.. especially Kon. He was diving for the ball. I feel like this new blood coming up, will be different that the current star players who have ruined everything. I really do hope that’s the case.
I do too but historically the rising stars game has been a better product. They are still in the “brand building” stage
