Watching pregame. Interview with Clifford on Brandon Miller. He spent the whole time talking about how much he is playing and having to do as rookie. Very complimentary. I also get the feeling that Clifford hates the rest of the high pay guys on the team because they are soft

I don't melo does. He is great when things are going well. Not when he needs to be a leader of men. He also doesn't have a great feel for what his team needs and when. I really think cp3 would be amazing for melo

Zach Lowe had a good line in his article today about NBA defense. It was during the Luca game last week. That Atlanta never cared about giving up baskets because their mindset was to just get it back on the other end.

It's a pervasive attitude in the young players of the league now. It really helps describe melo's lack of awareness of pace and team needs in game. How easily he can be goaded into allowing a pace his team can't win at as long as he is getting his stats. I don't even think he realizes it's happening

Can we amend Hornets Law? Add NSJ doesn’t play in the 1st quarter and Miller is not allowed to score 30 or more points.

I am SO SICK of Cliff saying that Miller is playing way too many minutes. I know its the NBA, but shit, he’s averaging 2 less minutes than he did in COLLEGE.

30 minutes a night in the NBA is not a lot for a player of his Caliber.

He might be genuinely thinking that. And it is a tell in and of itself that he doesn’t like playing rookies. He had no problem playing Kemba 35mpg in his own first year coaching him, Kemba’s year 3.
