Yeah it’s Hollinger’s big Trade Deadline article. As he’s normally highly uninterested in us, that must be simmering either very evident, or it found him multiple times. Question I’d have is why it’s out there. E.g. who is it serving?
I’d like to see us get moving on a new GM sooner rather than later so this would be exciting if it’s true

It will take a bit of time to negotiate the buyout I guess. Its not just waiving we are going to want him to sacrifice some $$
Yeah if he’s not wanting to work with the hornets on the money part, he can sit out as long as his 37 year old heart desires.

The only thing I can think is that we had to waive 3 people today to make those trades official and we didn’t have the buyout with Lowry done so Ish became a sacrifice.
If so… ugh. We relied on him all year just to get rid of him at the trade deadline again. In his retirement yesr at that.

Not sure what the procedure is for roster capacity in regards to trades or buyouts, but…
We had over 2 weeks to discuss this with Lowry and his agent. Maybe we are looking at signing someone who is available.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Ish come back after Lowry is settled. He said he wasn’t going to play anywhere else but Charlotte anyways. Give em a little break to relax.
Clifford’s rant about being under talented the other day has me wondering if the rest of this season is somewhat of an audition for them to pick up his team option to give him one more shot. Now that he’s got some better talent, it will be interesting to watch how this unfolds.
