“A third team, Charlotte, also is part of the trade to absorb additional salary, sources said”
And we were there too! We helped the big boys do good! GUYS!! WERE GETTING SOME SECOND ROUND PICKS YALL!!
Bring on the second round picks boys! Charlotte is the best third party waste dump out there. Keep throwing the picks and players at us everyone!
Hails to the Mo fo yeayah! This is more activity then we’ve seen in the last 5 years combined. We should be very confident in the new ownership now.
Time to YouTube research the name “DaQuan Jeffries”.
These are the sorts of little deals to aquire small assests that we used to talk about on here but now we’re actually getting involved in them.
I’d more it is the sort of thing that Rich Cho did well
#Dothemath
Let the bargain shopping continue.
Wonder if Taylor ends up sending us some current MIN salary to get under the cap. Much talk about his want to be tax free. I’d prefer NAW over Jeffries if given an option. Not sure we need guatds regardless however.
We know NYK had been sniffing around Richards all summer. I know about Mark but I’m eyeing that DET 1st they have. If we can expand it enough to pull that with Nick being the best asset going out I’d be stoked.
Hornets Legend James Nnaji. He will be missed 'round here
Nothing to write home about, players will probably get waived and the picks will get attached to trades we’ll hopefully make down the road.
Shame the C didn’t work out though but it sounded like he didn’t want to he here anyway so no loss.
The second round picks tradition continues!
Jeff Peterson on the phone: “uh huh, how about a little less talk and a little more 2nd round picks. Call me when you’re serious”
Holy sh!t. The roster must be up to 21 now. Nnaji said that the Hornets drafted him “against his will”. Good riddance.
Who’s ready for some basketball, must admit its the most optimistic I’ve been going into a season for a few years now. Its probably a fools optimism but a new season new hope.
This season hopefully will be different, it feels different with a new coach who’s actually won something and knows how to win. Obviously a lot will depend on injuries but that goes with any sport regardless.
I don’t know that I’m optimistic for the season W/L result. I’m more optimistic in the Cincinnati game on Sunday sense. Where it was a loss, but you could see a good game in there. And good parts and pieces.
Preseason game on Sunday against the Knicks at 5pm. I got two seats in the upper level for free if anyone’s interested. You can be one of the first to see the new changes at Spectrum Center.
Well if you’re going sunday against the Knicks you won’t see Cody, he’s hurt his wrist and suffered a laceration to his finger.
The more things change…
