With Kon I know it is early, but I am trying to pretend like Ace Bailey doesn’t exist when I evaluate Kon’s game lol and that isn’t good. But I do like Kon.

I like Kalk tonight. Pretty happy with everyone not named Spencer tbh. Praying we keep Pat and drop Spencer before season starts.

I’m not sure Pat has shown that much either haha. Dinwiddie probably fills more of a need from an insurance perspective but I am good with either honestly, maybe both can make it somehow.

I’m with you here. Kon has looked solid to me, and I would agree that he had a couple of stout defensive possessions against Shai the other night where he moved his feet well and forced a pass, which is a win vs. the reigning MVP and an encouraging sign. But for me, it’s going to be impossible to evaluate Kon in a vacuum. I will always evaluate his performance relative to the guys I wanted over him (Ace and Tre), and it’s hard for me to feel great about our pick after seeing Ace look like a potential future star after his first two games.

I know. We’re just three preseason games in and no one has played a real game yet, but I really hope this isn’t yet another draft where two or three years in it looks like we picked the wrong guy.

Won’t get ahead of myself but was really surprised with Kalk’s game tonight. He looked pretty nice!

Jonathan Givony said, over and over again, that Ace would be a star in the NBA and few listened or cared as far as I can tell. It’s early but this may nag us (and the players/coaches) for the entirety of Ace’s career. Simply put my fear is that we f-ed up.

My apologies for the bold. It’s 4 am and I don’t feel like figuring out what’s going on.

Kalbrenner looked awesome. Man it would be good if he panned out.

Also, our bench is going to be absolutely horrible. Again.

It seems like we could cobble together a good bench unit, but that assumes a return of Josh and Grant to the line-up. I really hope that Spencer is just a kick the tires thing before roster cuts and had Tre not gone out so quickly with the hip issue, he’d have gotten the lion share of those minutes (and sense we might not have been -27 with Tre on the floor vs. Spencer).
