I don’t think so? Haha Guess that’s what we are using our second round picks for? Haha
According to Chat GPT, we (Charlotte/Swarm) traded RaeQuan Battle and a 2025 Swarm 2nd round pick to (Boston/Maine) for Rodman.
“2025 second-round pick” is in the original article which, since the NBA draft has passed, could only mean the G League draft.

Here we go….again:
Wasn’t Grant a planned part of the center rotation?
I don’t think so, other than some small ball. Plumlee, Kalk, and Diabete are the main rotation.
Lee, who thinks big man Kalkbrenner could eventually have a career similar to Brook Lopez.
That’s pretty interesting to hear from coach.
Kalkbrenner certainly fits the brook Lopez prototype. It’ll be a project, and my early expectations are tempered. I’m hopeful on his progression and it would be a godsend for this roster.
I’ll probably do a long write up on this before the season, but if Kalk can be a brook lopez for this team…holy shit guys. Lopez has to be one of the most under appreciated players in the league. I don’t think a lot of people quite understand his impact. Kalk has the potential to be one of the big missing pieces.
Oh boy, I just did a measurements comp of Kalk and Lopez. It’s alarmingly similar as Sion James compared to Lu Dort. I already wrote at length about Sion James being our Lu Dort. So it looks like I’ll be doing another write up on Kalk/Lopez, Sion/Dort, and the vision of coach Lee.
With the hook being: Coach Lee and Hornets management have done their jobs. They made the smart decisions on drafted players, and passed on guys like Ace Bailey. They’ve brought in guys that fit a vision. They’ve focused on prototypical players that are essential. All while playing salary cap 4-D chess. Regardless of if those players work or not, it was smart. And I can’t blame them for what they’re going for.
