This is a must watch video for the long time regulars here. It’s a 2.5 hour, thorough documentary on the bobcats 2011/12 season. I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it.
It’s a deep dive. And a fantastic production that is about that horrible season and so much more in hornets/bobcats lore leading up to it. It’s not mean or snarky, at times he sounds sad and empathetic. He really highlights that it was incompetence and horrible luck.
11 games remaining. 4 away, 7 home. Tough schedule outside of SAC, BKN, IND. And Indy has played us tough all season unfortunately. The other 8 games are against good playoff teams.
If something does happen and the hornets truly make a close push for 6th, it will have been well earned. Buckle up!
Damn. This would’ve been an especially spicy night for the hornets if Atlanta had found a way to lose. Still a good night. Nothing is impossible, just a really upwards hill to climb. 7/11 remaining games at home! Take care of business at the hive.
Damn. Tickets look cheeeap for Tuesday against the kings. I’ll be in charlotte Friday morning, I wish we had a game Friday evening instead of Thursday evening.
3-way tie goes with the cumulative record against all 3 teams. Apparently Orlando has swept Miami this year, so they have the best record against us and Miami combined.
This has been the craziest most exciting season. As it stands, two games back from ATL for 6th. One game back from 76ers for 7th. We play Philly Saturday.
If we beat Philly, hornets would hold the season series tiebreakers over: Philly, Atlanta, and Orlando.
No matter what happens, the future looks bright and I’ll enjoy the ride
We also hold the tie breaker with Toronto. Split the series 2-2 but we have a winning record in our division and they are something like 5-11 in theirs
