Looks like he needs to work on his flop game since that’s how the game is played/called now. SMH
So made a long post about this a while ago after I dug into the factual data. I don’t have the time to find it. The nba investigated and cleared Rozier. Thats objective. That happened. The nba’s failing are not our fault.
When I have more time this evening, I’ll repost what I wrote and I’ll find the incredibly detailed YouTube video that had a chunk about the failed nba rozier investigation.
TLDR: (the nba doesn’t have the ability to investigate things like the FBI does. And there weren’t formal charges at that point, which further neuters the investigatory scope of the NBA.)
Great Eric Collins interview. Loved his laugh when they played a montage of his high energy calls. I’ll throw myself under the bus. EC’s first season, I really had a tough get getting on board with him. I remember feeling that he came off as really corny. But the rest is history. The very best in the business, EC and Dell.

Me too. Don’t go back a read my comments. I remember one early season game over thanksgiving railing on him from my wife’s grandparents house as I was rocking my now 10 year old to sleep.

Every team ahead of us just keeps winning. We’re staying at 10 aren’t we.
And of course, when two of the teams do play each other, we lose.
That said … I’m not sure we are as good as we playing in Jan - Feb. the 10 seed seems about right now sadly… Unless we figure out how to be as good again.

I still think we can get to 8. I don’t trust Philly or Atlanta. And our ending stretch may not be as tough with some of those top teams resting guys for the playoffs.

I hope you’re right about 8…. But I just don’t see it. I don’t like the way we are playing.. we just haven’t looked good to me, since that big Celtics win. Brandon Miller needs to get it together… so many bad plays a lately… like he can’t handle the pressure. Not sure what happened.
It sucks man. As soon as we looked to be in contention for the 7th or even 6th seed, all the other teams kicked into high gear. I guess it’s no shock that Miami turns it up later into the season. The Magic are starting to play to their potential (I’m a weird person who thinks Orlando needs to keep their core together and not trade banchero). And Atlanta has woken up.
All the while, the hornets come back down to earth. If we are able to finish at 41-41, it’s an incredible accomplishment for this team considering where we were at during a point in the season.
