Hornets 2025-26 Season

Aj would be amazing on this roster. Boozer would also be really good. And Caleb. So if it were one of them, that’s the answer

Ok. The realistic goal now is 8th place. Orlando is a 1/2 game up on us and Miami. This week we gotta bounce back. Brooklyn then another back to back with Phoenix and Indiana. Guys don’t even need practice tomorrow just rest.

I have two extra tickets for Phoenix on Thursday Night if anyone is interested. Just shoot me a DM.

Dang. Two tough losses this weekend. A little wake up call there. 6th is out of play. I was going to post this Friday but wanted to see how this weekend played out.

Lots of parallels between the panthers and hornets this year. Both teams with rookie of the year candidates, both pushing for the playoffs, exceeding expectations, seemingly a good young coach, etc.

I’m wondering if a similar fate awaits the hornets: a playoff berth that results in a tough first round loss. But a tough, tight series that the hornets just come up short. The loss will be disappointing, but no one will be that upset about it because of how bright the future looks.

Family and I are going to the game Friday, first time since '2022. Do the doors still open at 6:00? We usually park in the lot at the corner of N. Caldwell/E. Trade, is that still a decent place to park? Used to get in and out pretty good.

Came across this site. Helps to keep up with how other games might help or hurt.

Edit: for some god forsaken reason it defaults to the heat being your team.

There we go. We’re in 8th.

Doors open two hours before for season ticket holders, so I think you would be good at 5:30 for a 7pm start.

If you’re parking in a surface lot get there early, they fill up pretty fast ever since we’ve been playing well.

Going to the game tonight and just found out the lot we usually park at is where the new performance center is being built. Any parking recommendations for an out of towner that’s easy to get in and out of? Thanks in advance.

Southland Parking on 5th and Brevard, but you need to get there early. It’s $25 paid through the Passport Parking App. Not the cheapest, but it’s easy and right across from Spectrum Center.

7th Street Station isn’t bad either, but it’s a parking deck so you have to either leave early to beat the traffic or hang out after the game to miss just sitting for a little while trying to leave. You can go out of the 6th Street side and it’s not a long walk to the arena.

I think we’ll try to park at the 7th Street station area. Couple of mentions on Reddit about a lot next to the deck there that they say is good too. Surely one of those will work for us. Thanks for the info!

I think we MUST win the next two. Celtics will be tough depending if they play Tatum to keep warming up or not.

I think Pistons will rest Duren/Cade against us, especially to avoid any conflict before the playoffs, given that it is extra important for us. Pretty sure the Knicks will rest in the last game based on standings.

I saw where Cade will be reevaluated next Thursday I think. If he’s cleared, he might play to get back in rhythm before the playoffs. I think if Cade plays, everyone else will too. At least a few minutes.

Obviously not nice to see anyone get injured but as well as helping Kon top the 3PM charts, sure what happened with Luka will have some people reevaluating their minutes through the last few games - hopefully works in our favour.

On a separate note BR have us at 6 in the latest power rankings, is that the highest we’ve ever been in bobcats/hornets return era?

Why even rank 21-30 when their season is already over?

Moussa is out with ankle soreness tonight. He was questionable coming into it, so hopefully not too serious.

Xavier Tillman +22 in 17 minutes vs. the Pacers LOL. Hate I had to miss the game…

Hey, the Lakers are falling apart man. First Luka out and now Austin Reaves out 4-6 weeks. I think Minnesota doesn’t want to move from #6 now in the West. But the Lakers are only a half game up on Denver to fall to #4, so I guess you think the #5 spot is where you would like to be.

I was hoping they might rest a guy or two against us but I doubt it now.

Crazy seeing this team 7 games above .500 after being 9-20 at one point.

Tremendous turnaround. It just confirms what most here always expected. There was a lot of talent on this team that could be pretty good, if healthy. It’s been a really good year and I will be disappointed if it doesn’t end in a playoff series….or two. :slightly_smiling_face:
