Fair comparison!
Hornets are posting some exit interviews on the website. Lamelo said they should have been ready for Orlandoās intensity after beating them 3 straight times, but they werenāt ready to play.
Interesting
He makes some valid points, but man, heās hard to listen too. Guess that is his shtick though.
Had a bad feeling from Wednesday on after the Heat were allowed to control the national media narrative on the Bam situation. It was an eerily similar feeling to the Josh Norman/OBJ situation that happened in the Panthers 2015 season. Got through an impressive win - media dominates the lone unfortunate part of that game. Massive distraction for team dealing with new found success & came out flat/lifeless in our first loss that year.
I hate were here - but hopefully there is much that can be learned. Id put this on coaching. Ive seen our guys take some unfortunate digs in the last 18 hours. They flat out were bullied & unprepared.
All aside - it was a special year & I certainly donāt feel ashamed today. I just wish the wagon could have kept rolling.
it would be a million times better and probably effective if he dialed back the jerk approach by about 95%
Iāll tell you this. If it were flipped the other way around, no one would give a damn. Lol
Watching NHL playoffs and got to thinking. Is the NBA the only professional sport that is officiated differently in the playoffs than regular season? I canāt think of any that is.
Wow, did Sam Kinison have a son?
LaVar Ball urging Hornets to acquire all his sons LaVar Ball urging Hornets to acquire all his sons
Oh boy
Watching PHI/BOS and theyāre not assaulting each other like ORL did to our guys Friday. Yeah itās physical, but not like ORL. NBA needs to reign in those handful of teams that are allowed to play that way. Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
Which is why Iām not too distressed to not be playing Detroit. That team is the worst.
Orlando wins 112-101. Aināt that some shit. The Charlotte Hornets are the ultimate cure to what ails any team. Lol
Or they lost to Philly on purpose to avoid Boston and get a more similar matchup?
Definitely possible
Coming into the season I had higher expectations for Orlando than Detroit. Health, particularly with Wagner was a big reason I think Orlando underachieved. They are healthy now and Detroit is not as scary as their record/seeding would suggest.
I saw just a little of the game. The refs were actually calling fouls. Imagine that. One stretch it was like every possession. Both ends. Unbearable to watch.
Draft order set, we have 14 (pre lottery drawing) and 18 (determined by tie breaker).
The Phoenix Suns (45-37) won a tiebreaker with the Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers. Second and third place in the tiebreaker drawings went to Philadelphia and Orlando, respectively.
So #3 and #18 it is.
Iāll gladly take that. ![]()
