"Neva' Lost" LaMelo Ball Thread

There are two positions within the hornets organization I’d like to apply for:

  1. the executive assistant to the hornets staff on the bench who insists on counting down the shot clock from 5 seconds. I can give him a 5 second countdown for when he needs to start his 5 second countdown. Or step in if he’s sick.

  2. lamelo’s driver. No more driving for Lamelo. I’ll do it. I’ll put up with the weird music, social media, or whatever.

It looked like Brandon Miller picked him up, maybe part of Brandon’s max contract will be being LaMelo’s driver

Loved the way he played last night. Attacking the paint, running the break. I thought his shot selection was improved. That was all-star LaMelo and this team can be really good when he plays like that.

This is what he looks like every time he gets healthy. Happy to see it again, let’s pray for long term heakth

One thing Eric Collins pointed out is that Melo’s current style of play is also healthier in that he takes less barreling plays to the rack trying to draw a foul. I haven’t watched enough to notice the difference, but that is an interesting point. If he’s trusting his teammates and playing quality ball, then he may last longer also.

Lamelo is really good. And you wouldn’t know just looking at stats. And he’s been good and a winning player for years. Glad he’s staying healthy.
