The 2020 real-time NBA Draft Thread

So the fun thing with Jalen Smith going early like this, we get to start to watch for what perceived late 1st rounders overtake in the draft to push late 1sts into the low 2nd round. I’d so love to get Tillman or Stewart at #32.

Great pick for the Spurs.

I like Azibuke, thoughts?

Paul Reed might be a good selection in the 2nd round.

He definitely fits the bill of what we look for in the second round, I’d rather have Tillman though.

I don’t have a significant opinion of him. I like Tillman and Stewart but if I take Mitch literally as wanting a 4 year/senior, that would rule out anyone (as a big) but Azibuke and Tillie and with the latter’s injury worries, I don’t see him at #32.

I would be OK with Azubuike.

Absolutely who I’d like. Great fit. Massive presence and could be a long term #2 centre on the roster.

Really dig Mitch’s comments here. That’s great to hear. He’s such a sober voice compared to days of old and not that he’s saying net-new things but I tend to believe him.

Womp womp - ok, down to Tillman for me at #32 if we’re picking a big.

Took the best player available. Didn’t get cute. I can get behind that.

Still less than enthusiastic that he works out all that well.

If we get to the 20s and Maxey is still on the board, that will surprise me. I thought a lot of folks were saying that he was riding a huge wave of UK good showings in the bubble.

Nice to have another Aussie in the league

Espn is down right unwatchable. From the talking heads to the woman doing the interviews. I have not missed them at all during the shutdown

I’ve moved basically all my commentary content to podcasts

ESPN basically is all show no substance nowadays
