Wake up in middle of night, damn

Last 32-22 team taken apart at deadline?

Hou….no…blow this up before season & 5th place in East…still got others firsts though

All the rings the $ spent & Harden-Kyrie-Durant gonna bring to Brooklyn…well, still got Ben Simmons to lead team

Last edit b4 back to sleep

West tougher…teams need pieces, we got some

help make decision, the not Kyrie & KD production
Cam Thomas 40+ last 3 games.

KD trade is amazing for the potential of Charlotte’s phone to ring for something meaningful for terry. It is a true arms race now.

Lakers got meaningfully better and phoenix just went all in. They are going to be almost impossible to stop if they can stay healthy.

Never underestimate a new owner to sell out the future. But at least KD can win you a ring

We should be very popular on the rolodex this morning. Not just Terry, PJ and Jalen could be attractive for a team that feels they need wing depth wanting to keep/obtain home court advantage in the west.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. Anyone with a salary less than 6 mil is going to be looked at especially if you can talk yourself into bird rights and being able to retain them. PJ is exactly the Tyrus Thomas type move that some desperate team can make, looking at you Chicago bulls, la clippers, sac kings and 76ers

I’d watch Memphis for PJ/Jalen. I can’t imagine they want to push in their stack with Dillon Brooks. He’s just as likely to get tossed for stupid stuff or shoot them into a loss as he is for going on a heater. Someone like PJ that could make Brooks unnecessary may look very attractive. Just not sure what kind of trade bits they have to offer (I’d be elated with 2023 first and Laravia personally).

Conley is a real leader.

I would think that KD trade probably just helped us a bit. Hopefully will open up a sale of future picks

4 first round picks for Terry incoming

I’m just glad to see the nets rebuild around super star ben Simmons.

What about Zaire Williams and a couple of seconds.

With the Mavs, Suns, Lakers and Timberwolves making their big moves all eyes are on the Clips, Kings, Warriors and and Grizzlies today out west. Plum and our Denver pick plus a second rounder for Wiseman? GS has a serious financial problem if Wiseman isn’t moved.

Right now GS would need to give us a 1st round pick. If we saving them 131 million . They better be giving us a pick. Not the other way around.

Paying attention at work today is going to be difficult

What Dav said. It would be a dereliction of duty take Wiseman for anything. The warriors will move wise men for nothing. They don’t want anything back.

I don’t understand the jakob p value. He’s ok but definitely not worth a high first and $20 mil per year in free agency

I would not want Wiseman for anything. We have a much more potentially competent starting center with Mark Williams now (compared to the faith I have that Wiseman will amount to something substantially impactful). We have our gamble already with Kai. No reason to double up on bets.

If things go the way of nothing (as in nothing done at the trade deadline), we might find ourselves even more dejected, more vexed, and more in a hole that we were coming out of Free Agency/Draft/Coaching hire in July. And that’s saying something.

That’s what I’m expecting.
