It’s the gift that keeps on giving, Clark

I saw a picture of it but I didn’t know what the hell I was looking at. Lol

The first 5000 fans get a straw Hornet’s hat.

We saw that straw hat on the jumbo on Sunday and my 9yo laughed at how bad it looked. The email said something about going by the membership desk to pick up a gift. I am hopeful it’s anything better than that hat.

East it’s like some commemorative gift, I’ll try to include the pic I saw

When will some team do right and give G-League MVP Mac McClung a FAIR chance to make an NBA squad?

I think he could be a nice spark off our bench. Next season what would it hurt to add him to our Summer League roster ad see if he would be a good fit.

Haha

at one point in the first half, they were out rebounding us nearly two-to-one. He could shoot and miss all he wanted, the misses were effectively quality assists.

I hadn’t saw this before, a good watch

That’s great! Simply the best broadcast team in sports, including Ashley. Hope they stay together going forward. Not sure what will happen with the Bally/Amazon deal.

Ashley is gone after this season

Yes we do. An excellent contract to trade to a team in cap trouble.

Its great trading his contract but we’re in more need of his 3pt shooting

I would hang on to him until the trade deadline - if we are out of it or if he’s out of the rotation then we should move him to maximize his value

Unfortunately you can’t hang into him until the trade deadline, he has to be waived before January 10th or his contract is fully guaranteed.

We do need shooting, but his contract (due to the partial guarantee) is a really, really good trade piece. We can get a shooter and a pick with it.

*can’t recall the exact figures but we’re roughly able to offer $12 in cap relief by taking back matching $17m in salary, as well as additional years, while the receiving team only takes a $5m cap hit by waving him prior to Jan 10th. The figures are somewhere in that realm.

I’m not sure we’ll be that far under the cap…at least I hope not. We need to start spending on legitimate NBA players vs the guys we’ve been trotting out there.

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, free agency every year looks more and more barren and fruitless. The big fish have already decided where they want to go for the most part.

I’m fairly convinced that the best way to get guys to small market teams like charlotte is via trade. And the draft of course. Indy gave up three first round picks for Siakam (which I think is a good trade), and the right to sign him to his max contract when he expires this year.

Maybe Paul George will like Brandon Miller• so much, he’ll want to play in charlotte? Sigh.
