There are so many conflicting reports on whether or not Gordon Hayward will seek a buyout. Rod Boone says he will when everyone else says he won’t.
Also conflicting reports on if we will trade Miles. Typical trade deadline.
Woj says we are keeping Miles and intend to resign him.
Its because there is way more to the Bridges story than what came out. Do you know he had another kid with her like last month? Meaning they were together during the “suspension” and court case and everything last year?
It was way more two sided than people think.
Not saying its right but its why he has been forgiven and its why other organizations have looked past it as well.

Ok, I am sorry. Please elaborate on exactly what you meant. I just went back and reread and came to the same conclusion. To me it seems like the last two sentences is a way to remove yourself from implying there are good reasons in the first two paragraphs. Like saying, there are justified reasons based on x, y, z (seeing each other outside of the court order) – but of course it’s not right.
Not sure he’s coveted by any team currently. He sure had zero interest in July and I am not sure that his current court case pending in 2 weeks would make that a better bet today than last summer. Most of the pundits that are better connected to the league than us think he’s still highly toxic and teams considering must balance the fan reaction to what they can assuredly get on the court immediately to offset it.
I’ve been quiet on this but I know for a fact how crazy that girl is. Let’s just say that she is an extremely jealous and devious person that has some real abandonment issues.
It doesn’t excuse what he did, but out of anyone, the NBA knows how those women can be and the lengths they will go to, to stay connected to an NBA player.
I totally understand this. But it also speaks volumes to him continually being around her and taking almost no personal responsibility or remorse for his actions.
Chef coach has summed up my post perfectly. The conclusion you came to was just not correct.
It doesn’t justify what Miles did at all it is just saying that the story in the public isn’t the full story. I never once said anything that suggested I was cool with what he did nor tried to justify it in any way.

If Miles’ girlfriend is really that crazy then their relationship is a time bomb & attaching ourselves to a long term contract to him is attaching it to her too. I’ll pass.

I get that there is always more under the waves than most of us will ever see. There are situations w/ some of our players that raises concern to me though I don’t think these things are remarkable so I don’t come at my view that everything must be unrealistically tidy. But there’s nothing here that sways me to want any part of the miles bridges business in a Hornets uniform. And I think his lack of leverage last July shows that it’s not a unique viewpoint.

Whether he stays or leaves, I’m fine with either one. I’m just saying that even with the domestic violence situation, there’s a lot more that NBA teams and players know and consider.
Miles has tried to leave that girl multiple times, I know that for a fact. But kids make the situation complicated and he’s a young man too. If you want to totally disconnect from that, I get it.
