Sounds like we’re getting 2 seconds from Orlando so we basically got Coby White without impacting our draft pick war chest
So that is two pgs added.
I didn’t think we needed another PG… unless something else is in the works?
Smells like something is cooking
Man…. I do not want Lamelo gone. Makes no sense to do that right now. We see what we can be….
Wild theory here. Rumor that MN is in on Giannis. They have Rob Dillingham and Bones Hyland as PG. They would need to shed salary to take on Giannis probably. Could we be a third team on that trade, sending a PG or 2 and picks out and return, say Naz Reid?
I would be incredibly surprised if tried to trade him right now.
Naz Reid would be a great fit! Don’t play with my emotions.
“Charlotte received the 2027 least favorable second via Boston/Orlando and 2028 second via Orlando sources tell ESPN.”
Jeff keeps cooking, excellent day for the Hornets. Feels like we aren’t done.
What are we doing? Did we open up a roster spot?
We got rid of Colin and Miles and brought in Coby and Tyus, so I guess there might be something coming. Maybe another trade or converting a two-way contract? We’ll see….
We got rid of Miles? Oh maybe you meant Mason Plumlee…lol I was like did I miss something? Things been coming pretty fast so I really wasn’t sure.
Good trade deadline so far but if we don’t get a big in i wonder if we’ll regret not getting in Jock Landale after his waiver.
Sources said the Hornets receive two second-round picks from the Magic in this deal, lifting them to 11 first-rounders and 14 second-rounders over the next 7 years. The trade gets Orlando out of the luxury tax.
Good gracious. How will we use those?
Am I counting 5 point guards on the roster?
We can’t be done.
On a side note with plums & pat gone does that make Miles our senior voice of reason left in the lineup?
yes that really hurts to type.
Based on need and salary, the likeliest is miles going out for a big. The only two players left that I can see being moved outside of miles is Grant and melo.
Melo makes little sense unless they made up their mind two months ago the injuries and lack of availability makes it impossible for them to keep him.
The issue with Grant is that he is sort of like Draymond. He isn’t strikingly good or even pleasing to watch but the team is just way better when he is playing within his rotational minutes.
