I think we match up well against them . with Terry and PJ back gives us a lot more debth

I think Miller will still get starter burn. Team wize I think we would be even better using Terry as a sixth man playing starter mins

In that light, what if we trade Gordon for Lonzo+Caruso to Bulls, and start Miller in Gordon’s position? We might get medical relief for Lonzo, which would make up for his contract, and Caruso would add good guard depth and defense.

If it was me I would like to keep Hayward and bring him off the bench . And use that money to start next season. Hayward would be ideal playing 20 to 25 per game . He I think fits well as the vetran leadership role.

Why in the world would we trade for Lonzo? Gordon is a straight up Iron Man compared to Lonzo since the new contract, and from what it sounds like, that could be a permanent condition. Don’t know how you could possibly convince the league that you deserve a Disabled Player Exception (which is only worth a fraction of his actual contract) if you actively traded for the player knowing his injury status.

It’s pretty familiar seeing PJ go quiet. Even when he’s not shooting or scoring well he still provides good enough minutes. He does little things, but is relatively unnoticeable. PJ is just an inconsistent player and was no way worth 20m+ per year. But I’m happy to have him on the team for a more reasonable contract.

If I feel like he regularly has poor showings against the magic.

I got so excited for PJ earlier in the season when I saw mid range, little dribble drive moves from him. Now with miles back he’s shifting more into that hot cold three point shooter who will stand around the 3 point line and shoot 7 a game

Well, for the quarter and some change we actually got to see all of our main guys on the floor together we looked pretty good. Lots of sharing the ball, efficient shooting, multiple guys involved. But clearly we can’t have nice things. The injury situation the past couple of years is just unbelievable.

I figured after the sports gods forced an even worse Panthers performance than the incredibly low bar that was already established every week this year on the hapless locals, at least we were finally going to get to see at long last what a healthy hornets rotation looked like for the first time in 7 years.
