Iā€™m not disappointed with the trade tbh. I like Nick a lot but as a hooper, he wasnā€™t helping us much. Iā€™d rather clear space to see what we have with Diabate. I doubt Okogie is any long term anything but heā€™s depth w/our revolving open credit with the medical profession. At least heā€™s durable and tries hard. I imagine heā€™s trade fodder anyway. I cannot see the bad in getting more 2ndRPs

Nick Richards, thank you for your service sir. Despite what others may think, you filled in admirably for Mark Williams and (usually) bestowed us with dunks and rebounds. Filling in for Mark Williams is a tough task, and at 5 million dollars per year, we got the most out of your team friendly contract as humanly possible.

I hope Nick Richards shows out in Phoenix. Cheers to possibly the best Bahamian center of all time. Yes, better than DeAndre Ayton. That dude is a joke.

Iā€™ve heard you can trade a few 2nd round picks to certain teams for a lottery pick. Maybe some team would do thatā€¦. No idea if a team that would be dumb enough to do something like that thoughā€¦.

The locked on hornets guys reminded me of one of my favorite Steve Clifford moments, ā€œNICK. SET THE F*CKING SCREENā€. I will miss all of his illegal screens and goaltending calls.

Opening up more playing time for Moussa is good.

Donā€™t love this trade. I could see it more if we didnā€™t have the concerns with Markā€™s durability, but until weā€™re sure he can make it through a whole season healthy, having a quality back up is important and Nick was that. Donā€™t feel like he ever fully got the props he deserved. The guy improved a ton. Was a double double threat whenever he was pressed into service as a starter and protected the rim. He worked his way into being a very solid pro. Definitely wishing him well!

Speaking of Richards, I wonder what his fellow 2020 Hornets big man draftee Vernon Carey Jr. is up to?

Heā€™s still young, and he had a strong statistical season playing winning basketball in the Turkish super league last year.

Edit: Serious injury? The article incorrectly states he was at Duke for 4 years.

I donā€™t have an opinion on the trade, but I did really enjoy watching him in many games, especially at the beginning of the season. I thought he played with a lot of energy and made a lot of contributions for someone that was a late pick. Yeah, heā€™d do bonehead stuff from time to time, but at least he tried hard. Wish him well.

Good debut for Nick. Heā€™s a perfect fit with the Suns. Good luck Big Nick!

I never thought he was all that bad personally

Bobble-hands? I wish him the best but he wasnā€™t going to get demonstrably better here. And we werenā€™t going to either with him. So to me, good guy for sure but happier heā€™s not here for all parties.

I thought he was a very capable back up, we will miss him this year
