I don’t really see Kyrie staying there but seems like a good let’s try something trade
Wondering if he’ll end up in some place like Detroit right as they start to hit their stride.
Does PJ fit into the nets tpe for the Dallas 1st?
One note on the nets and I’ll stick to the trade thread theme. I’m glad to see day’ron sharpe seemingly playing well with the nets when he gets minutes. I remember him being a tenacious rebounder who had a nose for the ball. Looks like he’s hitting some threes too.
I remember projecting him to develop an outside jumper since he seemingly had the mechanics for it. I HOPE the same for mark Williams, as I see him also having good fundamental shooting mechanics for the outside shot.
Boston’s not doing that, but you could make a convincing case that New Orleans should make Ingram available or (especially) Denver should get aggressive with a deal built around Jamaal Murray.
I wouldn’t if I were boston. the ask is going to be very disruptive. It’s just funny how the national media works.
new orleans can’t do anything like that as long as zion is their frontman. he is as reliable to play as kyrie.
now denver absolutely should. so should phoenix.
so should okc just because it would be awesome to get kd for 3 picks when you have 200. and make a run with him coming home.
Word is Mavs/Nets deal not formal yet because third team may be in play. Probably Toronto, but as delusional Hornets fans, we have to wonder.
no way would I trade Brown for an aging Durant who has been injured a good bit the last 2-3 seasons.
Decided to share some of the info I’m hearing ahead of Thursday’s deadline:

I hope you are wrong about the players over picks and rozier.
The picks can be leveraged into players at the draft. Now for the plum for multiple 2nds, yes if you can get an interesting piece and a 2nd.
Rozier needs to be traded. If the front office can’t see that, I don’t know what it is I think I know about basketball.
I love your stuff Plow, always have
But FWIW, I’m not hearing it’s players over picks.
Who knows though
I mean… they kind of told us what they think of high draft picks in last years draft… so I can believe that we are valuing players more.
Crazy math
He gone for sure
We gonna do anything? Or are we going to wait for our players to be hurt again so we won’t be able to trade them.
Very strange to see us interested in Matisse Thybulle considering we weren’t committed to retaining MKG (and I see them in very much the same mold).
Cliff was interested in mkg
Cliff doesn’t make transactions. And it seemed JB didn’t have much sway over them either.
