I don’t love any of those three out going players, but for me that trade is an easy no. Ingram is good and would be a good piece. However as has already been pointed out, miller is already on the roster making Ingram a luxury not a necessity.
No way I give up any picks, let alone 3, for a player that has been signaled as being allowed to become a free agent and doesn’t play a position of need.
We finally have a bit of depth and we want to trade half of it away for Ingram i just don’t get it. Yeah he’s a good player but that’s giving up way to much for a someone who i don’t think will get us to the play offs.
I’m sure that was a Pelicans fan that floated that trade, lol.
I’d give them one first with those players contingent upon Brandon signing an extension. Those are the types of players we need to be looking at but not for three first round picks, absolutely not.
Rozier did very little for the heat, Hayward is a stale, forgotten fart in OKC, and PJ Washington gives the Mavs an occasional hot scoring night from three point land. And then of course goes back to reality.
(Okay, PJ has been good for Dallas, I’m underselling it)
I wish we had traded this guys much sooner, but I’m mostly happy with the return. Even happier that we can look forward now.
Is this an endorsement of the new owners? I am there, I am just looking for other people to join me.
This is what I am talking about! This is why I was not worried about the coaching search. If we get a top 3 pick then it would be pretty hard to mess up the draft.
If we would of traded the guys under the old regime they would totally messed it up and been fleeced, we would probably owe other teams a first round pick
