I just hate them because they have my favorite player, Caleb Martin.
It’s July 2025 and the Hornets just announced that Cody Martin will need meniscus surgery. He hasn’t played since the 22-23 season.
And Cody Zeller. Crazy to see them both close out the 4th and OT.
Edit: Caleb I mean…. Or is it Cody? Do they sub in and out for each other? No one knows. Haha
I decided to torture myself and look it up:
Miami - started in 1989
31 playoff series wins
6 Finals appearances
3 Championships
Charlotte - started in 1988
4 playoff series wins
0 of that other shit
0 playoff series wins in 21 years
Come on Big Guy, you owe us one!
Again… we should have kept Malik. Dudes really coming alive in the playoffs.
I love the look on Dillon Brooks’ face!
Did Memphis just not show up? Or did someone pants them during the jump ball?
They must’ve had one too many drinks with those lap dances at Ja’s club.
Millennials gonna millennial
Kidding
Sorta
Also LeBron should have shaken hands. Speaks far louder than walking off
Kevin love’s full court outlet passing has always been mildly arousing for me
Lebron vs Curry again in the playoffs. I will definitely watch this battle. I consider it a tossup.
So tired of both of them. Curry was super impressive last night but I just have grown so tired of both LeBron and the warriors. I would rather them both lose
I think the Lakers will win, unfortunately. Warriors aren’t what they used to be. Sac was a better team, but their inexperience got them. As EC would say, they fell apart like a $3 suitcase. I’m still anybody but LA and Boston.
Edit: As I look at whose left, Denver is really the only team I can pull for. Go Nuggets?!?!
Rankings of teams I want to see lose the most:
- Miami
- LA
- Boston
- Philly
- Golden State
- Phoenix
- Knicks
- Denver
So I guess I’m going for a NY/Denver finals? Ehhh.
Of course NY won’t make it. Denver is fun to watch, so them vs Philly or Boston will be entertaining. But I must have the top 3 lose at any cost. So Denver/Philly. Or I could do Phoenix/Philly.
And I am actually looking forward to the LA/Warriors matchup. I know everyone’s tired of the Warriors, but it’s still fun to watch an average size regular person with regular person athleticism just destroy everyone in front of him. Its unreal, and we’ll miss it when he’s retired (after coming home to Charlotte for a couple years.
Are you trying to push my buttons?
Well, if Adam hadn’t put a big old button right under your name, I wouldn’t keep pushing it so much…
But also, I’m close to the same height as Curry and can jump higher than him (or used to). Of course, he’s quicker and is many many levels better a shooter and dribbler than me or basically anyone else who’s ever existed. But his measurables are closer to a regular (albeit a little bit taller than average) person like me, rather than the behemoths that rule the league.
Maybe the Bruins choking in the biggest choke of all sports last night has set a collective chokehold on the city of Boston, and the mood and bad energy from that will hang over every sport in town. I mean, when the tension got high at the end, Brogdan just straight up threw it to Maxey to lose the lead, then couldn’t recover after Harden’s 3
Philly stole one without Embiid, hope they get him back to put the hammer down on them.
