LET NSJ COOK.
Averaging 21 ppg and 60% from three over the last three games. Thatās sustainable. Without a doubt.
LET. HIM. COOK.
Wake up.Hornets Planet! Emergency Meeting!
What a deal! Wait! Whoās our center now?!
What in the hell are we doing!? I was about to go to sleep. So now we have no center??? wtf. I donāt know what to think.
Canāt trust him to stay healthy! Iām ok with it! More moves to come?!
There has to be something else coming, I donāt think Moussa and Taj can be the only guys going forward
not a fan of this. but will hold reservations until end of deadline.
Now Mark will be super healthy and Knecht will get hurt. I can feel it in my balls.
What young center is available?? Ayton? Iām pretty floored right now. We keep Mark all this time to trade him now.
I will say, I think they feel like Markās inconsistency and injury management were enough of a red flag moving forward that they valued picking up some currency and a player they obviously liked in the draft process.
I like us having Knecht, I wanted him at #6 this year so Iām happy with the value we got here.
On top of that, this regime did NOT pick Mark, so they didnāt have loyalty to him.
Walker Kessler?
Yeah this FO clearly doesnāt believe in Mark to give up on him at this stage. Personally I donāt love it. I feel like weāre pulling the plug on him way too early, but the concerns about his defense, toughness and durability were valid. Iāve never been as high on Knecht as a lot of people though. Heās just a solid role player to me. I donāt know what weāre doing, but we do have 3 additional 1sts now and like a million 2nds so hopefully we have the assets to trade for a disgruntled star this offseason. As an aside, Iām sick of the Lakers always getting whatever they want.
I do think Knecht will light it up here. There isnāt much to compete with. He and Miller will light it up together.
We need a center though manā¦ bad!
Iād rather go the veteran center route. It seems like rookie centers take a long time to develop and they rarely become franchise lynchpins now. Mobley in Cleveland seems to be the exception, not the rule for example.
Like for us - we need a hard screener and a rebounder offensively and a guy who can be a paint presence defensively. Thatās it
Maybe they are going to trade everyone. Not that it seems itās gonna matter. Honestly not sure wtf theyāre doing.
While I will be excited to watch Knecht in a Hornets jersey, I am kinda sour on this trade unless we magically land a talented young center tomorrow.
Bit of a shock to be sure.
I can see why theyād do this (injury history, atrocious defensive numbers, up for an extension next year) so Iām ok with it. Love the draft capitalā¦we now have 3 FRP either lightly or not protected. We also got a white wing assassin I know some of you wanted for our pick last year.
None of these trades can be fully evaluated until we see what this FO does with those picks. Iām hopeful itāll be stellar.
Wish it was Miles tho lol.
He wasnāt much of a center for us when playing.
