he must’ve gotten wind of it because he was out of it during his last game.
That was after the Washington game. Or maybe even during. Damn
I just know I’m never gonna get on Terrence Oglesby’s bad side.
Considering the first half of that game Coach, if Peterson made the call after the game ended - banking on the fact noone watches our games and only the stat lines, that was baller move of the year in General Management.
You better believe Melo took notes on this one and he should.
@Mich_Mercer there you go friend
Ah darn. Was hoping KJ Simpson was going to get the keys to the tank-mobile. I think we were close to signing Peyton a year or two ago I believe? I remember wanting dorell wright. I might be mixing my heads up, it’s all kind of a blur of bad.
curious if any of the new guys will be ready to suit up tonight…otherwise it’ll be march 1st before the home crowd gets a look. guessing it would be unlikely - but I am curious.
Somebody explain this move to me. Is it because of the injuries?
I assumed it was Peterson walking into a sealed room with only Cam Reddish and Elfrid Payton, put “one roster spot” on the floor and walked out.
I’m guessing it is a hardship contract.
What Are the Differences Between Standard and Hardship 10-Day Contracts?
There are two types of 10-day contracts: standard and hardship exception contracts. While both allow teams to temporarily sign players, there are notable differences between them:
Roster Limitations:
A standard 10-day contract can only be signed if the team has an open roster spot within the league’s limit of 15 players.
A hardship exception 10-day contract is granted when a team is dealing with multiple injured or unavailable players, allowing them to temporarily exceed the 15-player limit.
Would be a good time to review the trade transactions over the last year or two. I probably will miss some, so please chip in.

are you forgetting cam reddish?
Oh yeah, Reddish. He sucks at basketball, must’ve slipped my mind. I’m sure he’ll be playing overseas within the next year or so.
You forgetting who we just traded to PHX and was getting nearly 30mpg for most of the year? Sucks at basketball is not a bug, but a feature this year.
I think Terrence obviously knows the game and is very polished in front of the camera. Probably the most talented of any of the analysts who have sat in that chair through the years, but there’s something about him that’s a bit off-putting to me. Can’t quite put my finger on it but I feel like he’s got a bit of a “smartest guy in the room” air to him. A few of his exchanges with Shannon have seemed a little awkward, almost like he’s trying to make her look silly or question/challenge points she’s making.
And I thought the Mark Williams tirade was over the top personally. Even if what he said was accurate, that’s just not a good look to completely dress down one of your home team players like that on the air. Not saying you have to be a total homer and say everything is great, but there’s a way to critique things like effort and performance without calling a guy out in such a vicious way. I’ve really never seen that happen in all the years I’ve been watching sports. The more of I see of him the less I care for him.
I think this is a market-specific thing. I think TO was really on point and as someone that feels like I watch every single painstaking moment of Hornets basketball, he was saying what I was seeing … and aside from Doug (who isn’t employed by the Hornets so doesn’t really count), was the only one saying it. If this was LA, CHI, PHI, NY, his comments would have come after the very first disappearing act game and noone in those markets would have batted an eye. It’s just odd seeing it here. And to me, it’s kinda refreshing to see it here. I don’t want to only hear “with a wingspan of a condor” when he barely ever flapped his wings.
This is exactly how I’ve been seeing him. The awkwardness does show. He is good, but he kind makes me think “ouch”.
