kinda weird we haven’t pulled our social posts. hopefully we’ll hear more from our front office on this one. probably won’t because its injury related though.
The more i ruminate on this, i wonder how much game to game health is not within the purview of the medical staff but feels in feedback from the player. E.g. a guy that might be self conscious of the time he’s missed is less likely to self report nagging issues. Like my mom used to tell me as a kid, if you don’t tell the doctor where to look, don’t be surprised if they don’t check that out.

I wonder if we will file a grievance with the league about this. Lakers just totally fucked us over here. We have proof that Williams has been relatively healthy this year.

They didn’t do this to fuck us. They are completely screwed, they are back to being over the apron so can’t sign any buyout guys making more than the MLE and have only Jax Hayes at center.

Fortunately, Micic is a walking failed physical. If anyone claims that’s new info, we can force them to say they watched none of our games and cite caveat emptor.
The Lakers and everyone on the league knew this was a high risk potentially high reward trade. They didn’t just find that out when Mark got to LA.
IMO we could claim the same about Mark.

I think we should put Mark through a stringent physical when he gets back to Charlotte and if our findings are different we should file a grievance.
Moreso, should we have an independent 3rd party so so and challenge our own medical team if there’s a significant delta? I mean shit, we can’t normally field a healthy team in summer league, let alone preseason and when it counts.
Lol Hornets released a statement saying “the other team” (did not mention Lakers) aggressively pursued Mark and we were reluctant to let him go, we welcome him back as Starting Center. LOL. Damn it is crazy as hell being a Hornets fan.
