Cool stuff
Maybe those good vibes will result in players staying healthy. Cool dudes, cool vibes.
Who knows whether he will be here or wants to be here but Hornet Vasa Micic scored 19 points while winning a bronze medal with Serbia today. Seems like he had a decent Olympic games.
He absolutely should be here
Maybe this will help his trade value if he takes this momentum into the season. But then again, I know nba teams don’t really care about the olympics that much. I’m personally higher on Vasa than most so I know that I certainly want him on the team.
I feel that he’s the best passer on the team outside of Melo, and it’s not even close. If Micic can get his three point shooting close to 35-37% he’d get a lot more respect.
I like Micic a lot. While moving him would unclog our backcourt, I don’t want to see us move him. It’s a great luxury to have a true pg heading up our second unit. His court vision is on par with Melo imo, and I love his strength and toughness. I do wish he was a little more consistent as a shooter though (although I’m glad he wasn’t in the semi-final the other day). That’s really the only weakness that prevents him from being a quality starting pg.
I actually think there are several guys who may have played themselves into a roster spot after the Olympics. I thought 2 or 3 guys on S. Sudan looked like potential NBA talent. I didn’t think Thor was even close to being their best player. Also, the other guy from France besides Wemby who went crazy yesterday should be getting a look. I think maybe they said he used to be in the league at one point.
Seeing this let’s me know how our old owner made so much money. We didn’t have a medical staff at all. Sheesh.
Yup. That was pretty much the vibe I got over the years. I had been wanting an overhaul of the training and medical staff. Big time. As it turns out, it was a simple overhaul because there wasn’t much to overhaul!
Random thoughts. I miss players like Glenn Robinson (aka the big dog) and glen rice. I’d like to see Brandon miller put some weight on and get more physical at the rim and take it to guys.
Sort of like how I’d like Melo to get more physical at the rim as a finisher. Get a little penny Hardaway with it, but Melo probably doesn’t even know who that is lol.
The link is now defunct, what was the gist?
Ah, I see it https://www.nba.com/hornets/news/charlotte-hornets-announce-2024-25-health-and-performance-staff
Holy hell, that’s so vastly strong compared to anything we have had in that sphere before.
Okay pour more science into it:
I have been waiting for this for years now. So glad to see we have a more robust and talented medical/training staff and program. Wouldn’t it interesting to see if players start staying healthier or rehabbing quicker…
Is Lamelo wearing ankle braces? Was this his decision? Was is the result of the new training staff’s influence? Will he continue to wear them like a responsible adult?
Did the team coerce Lamelo into wearing them by threatening to take away his rooftop driving privileges?
How are they so athletic on a court and so unathletic swinging a golf club. Mercy me.
Although I do share Melo’s “alright, let’s see how this goes” on the ball address. That’s what I think every time

Williams, who is new to the basketball card scene, is likely grateful that Doncic’s worth in the league affects the trading card market. Recently, Williams made quite the splash. The Hornets forward spent $10,500 on his first “National Treasures” basketball card box and lucked out by pulling the ultimate card.
Williams received the crown jewel in the box of cards, a Rookie Patch Autograph Luka Doncic card with a nine out of 10 rating. A rookie patch is a piece of the jersey, and of course, it includes the player’s autograph. “I screamed,” Williams said of his first reaction to discovering his holy grail find that could be worth more than $100,000, according to Cllct Media’s Darren Rovell.

Enjoy your money and life young man
I don’t know the rules on this, but I feel like you can’t be that excited to pull another man’s basketball card. I mean, yeah, play it cool for the folks and then scream like a child in your private time, but not in front of the cameras.
Don’t think of it as another man’s basketball card but as hitting a $100k scratch off. Because that’s what he did
The X link has a video. I am glad to see these guys enjoying life outside of basketball. All of them need to de-stress over the summer.
