We were like this in '16 too when we hit the national stage. I remember nbatv did some pregame thing with Nic and Kemba and then we went out and got torched. When you are never on big TV, maybe it just throws off the schedule.
(I’m sorry for using this phrase, I know I need to find a new one. But it just fits).
When on national tv, you don’t go full removed. This team has gone full removed.
Why in the hell is Caleb Martin in this basketball game?
Marv keeps calling him Jim Borrego
If he says Jim Borego one more time, I’m going to lose it.
Gotta have a Martin in at all times… it’s the Hornets way.
Ironic that Marv is talking about Pop getting JBs name wrong.
I know right. They are talking about his name and still getting it wrong. Haha idiots
PJ couldn’t defend a paper bag blowing in the wind in transition
Well Martin Albert isn’t winning any awards for coverage accuracy
You mean Albert Martin, the long lost Martin Twin that went with broadcasting
It’s Monks 4th year Marv, not 3rd. I hope this is our last game on National tv for a while. I miss our guys.
I hope Monk starts the 3rd quarter. He’s playing pretty well. But he won’t. He’ll come back in when we are down by 30 bc we have a Martin in the game.
Bonnell going in on twitter. That asshole lives for these moments
One Martin is one Martin too many. But you never go full Martin on national tv. Double the Martin, double the pain.
I honestly can’t watch nationally televised games on any network anymore. The announcing is excruciating to sit through.
I don’t usually gripe about the rotations but some of JB’s substitutions have been questionable. Devonte got hot after we struggled to throw it in the ocean and immediately gets benched. And has been mentioned, he waited too long to go to Monk. Gotta prioritize shotmakers when you’re struggling to score.
PJ needs to go straight to the bench. SEVERAL defensive mistakes already in the quarter
Guess we won’t get back on national TV again anytime soon. Which is fine because we always suck on national TV.
My guess at Borrego’s response: Martin in for Hayward
