Was looking up Jordi Fernandez to get a better idea who he is. Didnāt realize he was the coach of Team Canada last summer who beat the US in the bronze medal game. Then I came across this crazy story with Mike Brown. Basically, the confluence of events to even have him being in position to become a head coach was so infinitesimally small - it seems more than just right time right place, was almost lottery luck - it seems like destiny.
So I was a Charles Lee guy first, only cause I knew his name, and would be happy with hiring him. But Iām now a Jordi guy too, not just cause of a cool story, but heās been around many successful coaches, as well as a wealth of experience, to give him a good foundation to go with his youthful energy.

BYU over an NBA job? I guess. Has it been reported weāve actually interviewed these people, or is it just a wish list? Iām still good with Lee and even Quinn has been trained in the ways of the Culture (though that didnāt work for Fitzdale). Stackhouse was a big name once, donāt know why he took Vandy, an impossible job.

Not being mentioned historically hasnāt been a disqualifying feature for this org. Might be weāre a whole new org, or we could continue on that approach.
Supposedly Griffin was pretty rough for the Bucks. Check out the Terry Stotts situation in preseason.

This guy they mention, Boregano, I wonder if all take a look at him. He seems like heād be a good coach to get.
Is the Fernandez deal to BKN official? All I can find is āplanā, āpreparedā, ātargetingā, āintendā to hire. Donāt see anything official. I know, only the Hornets have coaches agree then back out.
