NSJ, and Leaky back to Greensboro.
Have tickets for sale tonight, DM me if interested
That’s a shame
With 3 new rotational veteran guards, he wasn’t going to see much time.
I agree. Given the situation, I think it would be best to see what we have with this new roster and also allow NSJ to have solid PT in Greensboro. For the time being.
As a NSJ stan, it’s disappointing but the right thing to do. Sigh. I know NSJ will be back in charlotte at some point.
I’ll be at the game tonight. Hoping for a solid crowd for a Monday night given the infusion of excitement.
I’d say it would be an overall benefit if we knew that Clifford was the long-term coach and thus GSO is following his long-term plan. As it is, if neither of those are guaranteed, maybe the PT in GSO is less valuable than being around the varsity members; especially Tre and Vasa whom would be net-new information sources (and quite possibly highly valuable ones).
That’s why I’m hoping this is a temporary measure. Giving this new group a few weeks to really play. To see what we have and then get NSJ into the mix. I hope at least.
With all of the young guys on the roster, I don’t think it’s a bad thing to send them down and let them focus on just a couple at a time. Tre Mann is a guy that’s going to need more growth. You’ve still got McGowens and Thor to grow and evaluate with veteran talent around them. I think now’s a great time to work a couple of those guys in at a time in Charlotte and give them more attention to see who we really need to commit to.
I’m sure NSJ will have his time.
I personally don’t expect to see Thor or McGowens on the roster next year. And would be disappointed if they were. I wish them the best.
Thor has a team option, and I guess that’s probably true. McGowan is signed for another year though with a team option for 25-26. He actually looks more like a player than most of the other young guys at this point.
I guess I’m not wanting to see both cody and Bryce on the team. I’m ready to clear out the sub standard nba bench guys. I love cody as a 8th man on the bench who can do a few things. Bruce, to me, is a one trick pony. He can be a smooth scorer, but a zero on defnese. He’s a guy that plays much smaller than he really is.
Well guys! Starting PG tonight is CODY MARTIN!
Oh thank god!
This is why he shouldn’t be allowed to coach after April 14th.
I think we got tre Mann guys.
