In another thread a month ago, I was accused of having “hot takes” or all or nothing approaches to my opinion sometimes. All I was saying that I didn’t think PJ was good this year outside of that big 40 game, and a few other games.
Mainly due to his effort, being a few steps behind, and looking completely lost on the floor at times.
What I’m seeing now is what I was referring to for the first 75% of this season out of PJ. I hope he turns it on in his third year.
I’m turning the tv off and stepping away for a while. I have more important things to do tonight. Like clip my toenails.
Will tune back in for the second half.

I don’t get why you have to have experience to put in effort. That’s such a poor excuse. Put in someone who is going to try.

Well. Seems like the 2 close losses to end the regular season drained any semblance of competitiveness or chance that we have for this game. Just a pathetic first half. PJ and Malik on D good god.

One thing to watch this crappy performance… it’s another thing to have to hear that commentator breathe like he is sucking air out of straw before he says every farging word…

This team doesn’t need to make any huge deals/trades/acquisitions this offseason, but a deal with significant ramifications needs to occur. It doesn’t need to be a complete team altering or a big splash thing, but the status quo cannot continue. I like a lot of the pieces, but I don’t believe maintaining this roster and just saying, “well it’ll be different next year-this young roster just needs one more year”.
I’ve really lost confidence in PJ this year.

This is awful. The coach needs to be fired, PJ needs to be released and we need a damn center
PJ seems to be unplayable as a 4 man. Dude just can’t defend and has low awareness of where his man is.
Kenny Smith breaking down the difference between our offense and the Pacers offense was very interesting. Mentioned paint touches and the ball moving inside/out and creating off of it.
It doesn’t seem like we have a huge variety of sets - maybe because we are young or lack of a center?

He does need to be fired it’s simple. He barely plays LaMelo and rarely switches lineups up when we need it. Also devintae graham isn’t good enough and we really just don’t need him on our team. Idk why you care so much about borego he’s a bad coach
PJ Washington has the best potential of any player on our team. This is for all of the NBA scouts and GMs that may look at HP.
But in all seriousness, he is a draft trade up piece at this point. The effort thing is just such a huge red flag.
