With Eastley’s announcement of the end of this site at the completion of this Hornets season; I’ve taken the liberty to set up a new Discord Server under the name of Hornets Planet. I don’t mean to steal the name, but wanted to maintain it’s continuity. Moderators, please let me know if that is acceptable. If its not okay, I can shut it down easily and immediately. It is a community server; but not yet advertised. Saying that - I think it’s close to ready. I can link an invite here at any time, especially to any few here who could help me test it,

I changed the server name to Hornets FanPosts awhile back, but would be happy to change it back to Hornets Planet later if we wish. There can only be one HP at a time haha.

In discord, conversations happen within “channels” which is just another name for a thread like we have here.

Don’t think too hard about it. If you wish to give it a try, just type “Hello” in the “# hornets-talk” channel (or anywhere really - no one cares at the moment) and me or someone can say something back. Conversation.

The server has no activity at the moment so there’s nothing to do except create some.

For now just use any of the preset channels to start or to follow a conversation. Once it gets going we can create permissions for folks to make their own channels. No ads - has nice little apps for any mobile or desktop platform.

There’s a “# questions channel” for - any questions however simple. Or just ask anywhere.

Once you join, you need to select a role to access all of the channels. Just tap on the purple, teal or blue one as you wish in the role selection channel. Those who have joined and haven’t done so - I’ve done it for you; no worries; and I’ll look out for others who join. It’s just an entry check. It’s stop some spammers.
