It could be fart in the wind… but I think it means he’s asking for thoughts on the 6th pick in the draft being mediocre (at best) in GLeague play.
If that’s to my preference, we don’t have room for that many “not sure he’s a guy” guys so why waste a roster spot. As it is now, we need to make a cut to sign Moussa to a non 2-way contract.
Because I’m bored. I wouldn’t look to far into my comment lol. We’ve won like 13 games and it’s February. I mean, It’s not like sharpe would be would be expensive, and we did just trade off Richards. Taj Gibson won’t be here next year. So that’s two centers off the roster for next year.
I’m a heels fan. I’m a hornets fan. Hornets suck, Tar Heels suck. Why not marry both worlds into mutual garbage?
But because I’m a good listener and can read between the lines of what you’re saying…
I agree, we should save as much space for Zion Williamson. That’s smart.
Could the hornets acquire caris levert and some draft assets for miles bridges
These writers/analysts are stupid AF if they think some of those players deserve All-Star over LaMelo.
If wins and losses matter, i get it. but again, this shouldn’t be about that if you are having a fan vote. especially when its a beauty contest anyway.
How can they say zach lavine is better
So lately I’ve been thinking we should hang onto Miles, unless we can get very good value for him. He plays hard and is one of, if not the most dependable guy on the team.
I just don’t want to get rid of him just bc. I’m nuts, but I’d let him go for Zion (even though most don’t want him here).
I just wouldn’t give up Miles in a PJ like trade.
I’m not a fan of Miles the person or player, biggest thing he offers us atm is someone to help keep LaMelo’s morale up so he doesn’t request a trade. But I also wouldn’t give him up for just nothing.
Serious question, at what point as fans do we put ourselves out of our misery? This seems like a pointless exercise. Wash, rinse, repeat
I asked myself that exact question when LaMelo was injured the other night. It just seems like this franchise is truly cursed. At some point interest will naturally wane, but it’s so hard to make a conscious decision to turn it off.
I’ll admit I couldn’t do the 2nd half yesterday. Got back home late and started watching around 10. Made it through the 1st half, but with all these guys out, we’re no longer watching the Hornets play. Just didn’t see the point of staying up late to watch the Swarm vs. the Nets.
I would love if we could trade for a 10-13 pick and get derik queen from maryland
I’m not renewing my season tickets, that’s the first step for me. I’ll always be a fan but I’ve been to less than five games this year for various reasons, but one is because of this perpetual treadmill we are on.
The original Hornets’ manual had a diagram on how to get out of it. Although I don’t know if they provide the assistant anymore…
I know how you feel. I stopped mine a few years back. For me, it was clear (while still under Jordan’s ownership) that they weren’t going to put in any real effort to be any more than what they were. So I didn’t see the need to give them that much of my time and money. And haven’t been to a game for about 5 years now. Never thought that would happen, but here we are.
I imagine I’ll always be a fan at some level, but they really need to start winning. I’m hardly watching the games on TV either, which is also something I never thought would happen. There’s plenty of other things to do with my time that don’t consistently disappoint me.
Hopefully, the new owners can get it together and give us a winning franchise. I very much want them to because I’d love to have even something close to the old level of interest in the team now as I did not terribly long ago.
Same here as you and coach. I became a season ticket holder the year they got big Al (bobcats) i was hooked. I watched every game away and would drive an hour and a half for 90% of games.i guess the height of the fandom was the 7 game series playoff year. We had lin,lee and batum and was easily the most competent the team has ever looked.
Near the end of the season when it was time to renew i was leaning toward renewing but i had gotten a new rep and the days of the reps being caring, trying to get to know u and gettin you into autograph sessions after game tunnel meets were dead. He came off really rude and condescending. Idk but it made me cancel my membership amd ive only been to 1 game since.
Its insane how long ago that has been and yet the team STILL has not even come close to reach even that small level of success
I generally like basketball fans. Regular, everyday guys who’ve participated in the game. Sometimes they are better than the actual basketball. Like nowadays.
A lot of us have issues with the current NBA style. These kids are getting paid so much. Our Hornets kids can’t stay healthy.
Our backlash IS healthy. We will not continue to support a subpar product.
Time will tell.
I might need me some Cooper Flagg up in here.
