At this point, i canāt fathom any reason we have to retain micic for any service. Please explain why we donāt just waive him and grab literally anyone for the spot.
I loved that tj had a board toward the end, looked at Micic, and just brought it up himself

DSJ is available or even Devontae Graham would be an improvement over what micic is providing. He must have really enjoyed himself in Paris.

Even giving him the grace of joining a new squad and still early in the season, Josh Green is providing very little even with opportunity with so many out. Shameā¦ Maybe heās worried the curse will come for him too if he does much of anything.
I used to be a mavs fan i have seen alot of josh green heās one of my favorite players but if I know one thing its that he has 0 confidence. if he misses a three he will probably not shoot again for the corner. At first I thought he was going to be a great wing for the hornets especially on defense (which is sorta happening I guess?) but I think they need to give him the ball a lot more I love grant Williams tre mann etc but when I look at box score and josh green is 1/2 and grant Williams is 1/6 it makes me think that if he had more opportunities to shine he could be great (tbh he just needs to get used to charlotte)
about micic I donāt know much about him but I feel like we could just pick someone up from free agency like aj Lawson for very cheap he was very good as a two way player for the Mavs last year
Grant gets way more minutes and usage than he should. He should be a 8-10 role not 5/6

Just not good enough. I know they kind of hinted at this being a āevaluationā season but i feel like this team has been doing that since 2016. During kemba prime it was always kemba and thats it. Now its starting to feel like deja vu. Maybe lamelo and brandon but after that?
grant Williams has shot 36% from three so statistically this season Josh has shot better from three
Its still early but hes averaging 4.6 points 1.6 reb and 1.1 ast in 23 minutes a game. Not good enough but my main point had less to do with josh green and moreso with whole roster.
I know they are preaching patience and i get it. Just ready to watch a winning basketball team. Not looking at mock drafts before all star break.lol
I think we actually have a deep and talented roster, but itās going to be hard to win games when you have two starters and two key reserves in street clothes. To the point that was made earlier, thatās going to push other guys out of their optimal roles. The problem weāve had for years is that guys like Grant, Cody, Nick etc. have had to take on larger roles than they should because our front line guys are always hurt or otherwise unavailable. You can make it work for a few games here or there, but that stuff catches up with you over the course of a full season. And itās happening again this season.
In no way shape or form can you have your starting 3 take 1 shot a game. Itās really bad when youāre getting almost no offense from the 5.
This should be a priority.
What Iām trying to say is grant should not be getting these responsibilities and I think Josh should get more of them
The frustrating thing for years has been never being able to see what a core looks like because the core is never together. Itās the damndest thing Iāve ever seen.

My ire over Micic is that this isnāt who he is. The other guys under discussion here have limits to who they are. We saw who Vasa was last season, and he wasnāt the guy that was getting his pocket picked by the 10 year old trying to impress his dad at the gym. He is not remotely this bad, this careless, this ineffective, this net negative on the court.
Maybe thereās a real explanation for it, but right now we have nothing to go on other than he looks like he flat out doesnāt GAF. That sucks
