Bally would be foolish not to take that deal. If I was Bally, I would actually be talking a sale to Amazon.

As a prime customer, I’m down to drop spectrum

Welp, I will just have to get my hopes up again after the season starts:

I don’t think Micic has much trade value right now, and Denver doesn’t really have much that they’d be willing to part with. He’ll need to continue to prove his worth over the next few months leading up to the trade deadline. Denver has always been hesitant to pull trades or part with assets. They’ll also need to see what Russ Westbrook will do for them. I know it’s cool to shit on Russ, but he played very well at times in a reserve energy role for the Clips.

Denver’s offensive pacing has always been towards the bottom of the league, so theoretically Russ would actually be able to help them push the ball more.

Lastly, given that Melo is made of glass and unreliable, it’s prudent to have both Mann and Micic on the roster.

Edit: Granted, if Micic continues the hot play and someone is willing to part with a first round pick, I’d think charlotte would pull the trigger.

Ashley’s moving on. Wish her well. She’ll do a great job.

Shannon Spake joins the broadcast team. Familiar with her NASCAR work. I think she’ll do a good job. Give her time, she’s got big shoes to fill

I didn’t know of her but I don’t watch NASCAR. I’m looking forward to see what she brings to the broadcast team, in a similar way that Sam seemed intriguing. Meaning he seemed of a different cut than the two preceding him.

Stephanie was a hooper and coach, Ashley was a collegiate athlete (volleyball?), Shannon seems to have a racing coverage background going back to the Speed Channel days and a marathoner/triathlete in her own right. She’s more of a contemporary age-wise with the rest of the crew than Ashley was. This could be cool.

Quick recommendation:
There is a typo on the list; Micic does not show. I also recommend listing the names on the graphic from most to least:

Not all of the names fit on the screenshot, unfortunately there wasn’t a way to change the order. But I highlighted Micic as the winner and his overall vote % on the analysis.

Damn did nobody else put Mark as their favorite Hornet?

I still think the hornets should’ve been more active in acquiring Okoro. And who knows, maybe they were making a serious run and I am unaware. I think they missed a big opportunity in terms of assets.

I realize the thinking is that Okoro is redundant given Josh green’s presence, but given where this team is-would that be a bad thing? When is the last time we had a real 3&D wing defender…Courtney Lee? Raja Bell?? gasp two wing defenders oh no!

My biggest reason is the relative value of these mid level contracts. Deals like Josh green’s (3yr/41m) and Okoro’s (3yr/33m) are incredibly friendly league-wide, and particularly to playoff teams looking to add a piece at the deadline.

I mean, what playoff team couldn’t use a wing defender with size who can shoot?

Okay, so what if Okoro ended up in Charlotte and he outplays Green this year?….Great! Green is a young proven 3&D guy on a super friendly deal…flip him.

But, that’s neither here nor there. The time has passed. Food for thought though.

These above MLE to mid level deals are insanely valuable for the next several years.

I am nervous about Josh after his most recent past summer.

Something that does not make me nervous:

That court…damn.
