Welp, if you guys thought we couldn’t do anything to break Kai’s confidence, you were wrong. He just got straight up benched in SUMMER LEAGUE by the coach that coached him last year.

I just don’t get what we’re doing. The wins don’t matter much so why play a 3 year guy this much? He’s already guaranteed, we don’t need to evaluate him substantially at this point and he didn’t need PT.

Everything about this game from our coaching staff is nuts. Play design on that and personnel selection needs a bit of help.

I don’t know. I think there are clearly concerns about Nick’s all around game, so they’re taking this time to evaluate and help him develop. He could be our starter. He could be traded this winter. It is disappointed to not see Williams more.
We could have Phil Jackson as our coach and still not be able to get the ball inbounds.

I think this is it, 100%. Pretty much what they did with VCJ last year (correct me if I am wrong). They checked him out in SL, then basically benched and traded.
