Games: 76 through 82

You gotta be kidding me

This is not a serious franchise. What a POINTLESS win

So so hornetsy.

Doesn’t matter anyway they are a lock to be #1 pick this year

We can’t have anything good

Hornets Law reigns supreme!

Last year wins like this cost us Wemby. What will it cost us this season?

If I was a Cleveland fan I’d be absolutely livid.

But as I hate that city, it couldn’t have happened to a better place. Lol

Doesn’t seem like it matters much with this draft seems to be the consensus

People are saying they didn’t want Philly, so now as a reward IF they make it to the 2nd round they play Boston. Make it make sense

Higher picks have higher value. Why would we have sat Miller and Miles healthy for this game if not to lose?

It’s not guaranteed with the lottery man, I get the disappointment but if anything we should know a higher pick doesn’t guarantee anything

If you are looking to trade a pick a higher pick has more value 100%

San Antonio could still beat DET, and if SAC rests everybody, POR could beat them. Never know, might still get the 3 seed.

We should be the last team trading picks out here. Lol

Sacramento will not be resting everyone, this is a must win game for them

Spurs up 23 at the half. Blazers down 28. Will be a coin toss btwn us and Blazers to decide 3rd and 4th odds

From an organizational standpoint there’s nothing more we could have done to lose. Can’t tell them to outright throw the game. Hopefully the Spurs win.

This season had lots of lows with a few highs (thanks Miller + trade deadline acquisitions). I’m sad to see Hornets basketball end still though.

This franchise likely will go down one of two paths and luck will have a lot to factor in it.

On one path, LaMelo and Mark stay healthy and return to form. We’ll have two budding superstars and an all defense caliber center. Jeff Peterson turns out to be a great GM and we hire a great coach to pair with them, then we have a top 5 draft pick and other assets to build a contending team around.

On the other path, LaMelo can’t get healthy and becomes one of the worst contracts in the league, Mark never looks the same again and we hired the wrong GM in Peterson to pair with the wrong coaching hire. We then have to rely on a pick from one of the worst drafts in NBA history becoming something otherwise our franchise is doomed for the next 5 years.

One of those going wrong will most likely set us back a few years. Let’s hope it all comes together and we start climbing the ladder to the upper half of the conference. Top 6 in a couple years would be great. Next step, hiring a solid coach.

How? We were 5 games ahead of the spurs and houston. Had we led the league in losses, we’d have picked 4th. And with that, no Brandon Miller.
