Has he? If so, it’s been marginal. Especially considering he’s been playing injured off and on throughout the season.
I’ll have to look at the advanced stats and report back. But color me skeptical. I think that may be a little confirmation bias. And not to deny improvements, damn, the bar is pretty low.
ANYWAYS BACK TO BMILL, does this mean he’s the starting SG? I really don’t see him as a starting SG right now, but my own confirmation bias wants that to work out. Im not against trying, but I think we need to at this juncture in the season. And overall hornets timeline.
I just want to go to a game so I can hold up a sign with, “Cliff, get Brandon the basketball” when they stop running things in the offense specifically for him. Was it pretty much the entire 4th quarter where brandon didn’t touch the ball last game?
Damn. Surprised this hasn’t been posted. Let’s get all the season’s best Miller dunks (or near dunks) in this thread to distract ourselves from how bad things are.
Love this. It went by really quickly. Love the slo-mo look into his supreme euro step at the 6:15 mark. The way he utilized bounce off the first step and covered so much ground. Hope!
That’s a great video. As we all sort of expected, most of this points have come from the catch and shoot. I agree with a lot of what he said except for a few things.
He said miller’s “sticky handles” eerily remind him of Paul George. Im going to have to disagree, as I actually think that’s were he needs to improve. PG is slippery and absolutely filthy. He uses his dribble to get to the basket. Brandon still often settles for the floater.
I see Miller as having a few good moves on the dribble, as he is can be decisive and effective with his dribble at times-but I don’t see PG’s slippery/filthy style of handle.
I think Miller and PG are tall guys that operate in a calm, fluid, and smooth manner. I’m hopeful that Brandon can improve on his dribble and using that to get to the rim. Which we definitely see flashes of!
Boris was a highly skilled basketball player and it was truly beautiful to watch him display his talent as a passer and scorer. He was a very, very poor man’s Jokic in terms of the variety of skills he brought to the table. I just wish he’d loved it more.
Glad to see he’s finally starting to get some national buzz. It’s long overdue and well deserved. But could Legler have said one more time that “there’s no reason to watch the Charlotte Hornets” during that podcast? We get it, we aren’t good. We don’t need to hear you say it 7 times.
