The Brandon Miller Thread

Alabama always had him listed at 6’9, all the predraft sites had him at 6’9, it wasn’t until he was drafted where his height got shortened to 6’7, so I don’t know where that source came from. Maybe it was from him to mess with people, he is a little jokester.

Also, if you don’t have kids in grade school, Melo is definitely 6’7. Or should I say, six SEEEEVENNN.

Don’t be shocked when all the kids go crazy when Melo and his height are announced during lineups. Or whenever a team hits 67 points. It’s a meme that literally means nothing. But everyone’s saying it. Kids are weird.

My 10 year old is doing his hands right now

I also have had multiple kids explain it to me and when I ask “but why is it funny” they don’t know

I’m actually looking forward to all the grownups being confused as hell as to why every kid in the arena is screaming Melo’s height.

As the kids would say, we’re cooked.

Eh, seems kinda mid

Well, you need the right ratio of rizz to sigma, otherwise you might go skibidee and completely crash out.

Height has always been meh to me anyway. The true rizz and drip comes from a good wingspan and standing reach. I want real numbers on B-Mill! Not this 6’7” cap!

I know that all older generations complain and make fun of younger generations new slangs and whatnot, but this gen alpha stuff is…weird. However, I do have the self awareness to admit that the words, “phat” and “dank” are kind of dumb. It is what it is.

Anyways, back to the hard hitting pre season Hornets talk: what is the appropriate ration of rizz to sigma? I’m always a little off.

Not really our focus but it’s a positive story:

Guys, this just got crazier. Now Brandon Miller is listed as 6’6” on the ESPN site, at least today.

What the heck is going on? There ain’t no way!

Edit: He’s also 6’6” on Wikipedia, at least today.

^^^ Bro did you see the latest?? 6’6”??? We’re in the twilight zone now!

Team is looking into why the NBA seemingly made sure that there are no players on our roster listed at 6’7” lol but Brandon at 6’6” is egregious and honestly LaMelo has been listed at 6’7” forever so they are running into some issues with that as well.

Also Kon measured 6’5” no shoes at the combine in June or whenever it was and now evidently is 6’4” WITH shoes lol

I have also been told that no other team had this happen yesterday but I it very hard to believe that the NBA just had it out for the height of the Hornets hahaha

Liam McNeely was 6’6.75” barefooted at the combine and now he’s 6’5”?? But now at least his very low 8’4” standing reach makes more sense.

This is too weird. If LaMelo is 6’6” in that photo then Brandon is at least 2 inches taller.

Eh, figure it makes us seem more plucky when we all are basically playing at Kemba’s listed height

Miller is back up to 6’7” today!

Knueppel is back to 6’6” as well, which is fair given his combine measurements and bulk to carve out space.

McNeely is back to 6’7”(close to his combine measurements) after being 6’5” a few days ago.

Locked on Hornets addressed this. Their commentator Walker is 6’6” and he says LaMelo is taller than him, and that Brandon Miller is definitely taller than LaMelo.

The height measurement musical chairs is hilarious

One of the more bizarro things I have seen on the eve of a season. Feels like it had to be an inside joke turned outside.

well, if there’s one constant to help stabilize this height conundrum, Melo is definitely 6’7" right?? If we operate on that being true, Miller has to be just about 6’9". We’ll submit our own measurements damnit!!
