Castle seems afraid of shooting. NSJ not afraid. This 6’9 Gueye big guy with a 3 and dunk in transition, and nice and1.

I would give anything to see NSJ break out this year.

I am interested in the back court situation. Obviously, KJ is at best a 2 way but if they keep micic and Jackson, they may be already planning around melo missing time/injuries. And/or running him at SG too.
I’m not hearing that. This guy has Jackson gone and Mann as our only backup PG. He says Micic is probably gone. No quote.

@spectre, thanks for posting the spreadsheet. Glad Miles’ status has now been resolved, one way or the other. Just good not to have that hanging over us. That was definitely at the upper end of what I was comfortable spending, but I agree with @dnbman that it’s probably not out of line with his market value given the recent salary inflation around the league. Like others have said, I mostly like what we’ve done overall. Don’t think anyone was expecting us to swing for the fences this summer, but I thought we used our space wisely to absorb some contracts and collect some assets, and I really like the Green acquisition.
I was ok moving on from Poku, Bryce and JT. I hope they can latch on somewhere and have success but I think it’s time for our newer young guys to get a look. Interested to see how we resolve the logjam in the backcourt. I understand the cap benefit associated with waiving
Bertans, but it was nice having that 3-pt sniper that we’ve seemingly never had.

Aside from Bridges, the only other move I question is Bertans. If this was the previous regime I’d be annoyed, but with Peterson I can only assume there weren’t any good trades out there for his contract. I’m surprised.
I think Poku’s release is directly related to Salaun’s drafting, and Miles’ resigning, so I understand that.
Ended up a 6 team trade.
Still have some work to do!
